About the Workshop

About the Workshop

Liz Rackard - Visual Journaling.

Many people feel they’re ‘no good at art’ or ‘can’t draw a straight line’ but no previous

experience or expertise is needed to enjoy creating and using your own visual journal.

Visual journaling is a great way to kick-start or re-connect to your creativity and find your

own unique voice in an enjoyable, playful way.

Liz is a multi-disciplinary artist and art therapist who has worked in textiles, painting,

drawing, print, sculpture and glass, She has worked as an art therapist since 2005 having

graduated from CIT Cork where she is now a visiting lecturer. It was during this training that she began to use visual journaling, a practice that she continues to this day. Liz believes art is for everyone and the benefits and enjoyment of using art materials are not dependant on skill or artistic ability.
